Planners’ Day at the Capitol will occur February 2, 2026, and all APA KS members are invited to join us in Topeka. You can register by clicking the graphic above or by filling out this Google Doc.

Planners from across Kansas will meet with state legislators to talk about how Planning affects the economy, housing, transportation, and land use in their communities.

The Legislative Committee will host the event from 9:00AM-3:00PM, and you will receive training prior to the event to give you the resources you need to advocate for our profession.

We are currently tracking bills that affect Planners across the state of Kansas, and if you are interested in helping, we invite you to contact Karie Kneller at kkneller@leawood.org for more information about how you can get involved.
