Planners Roundtable

MARC and the Kansas City Chapter of the American Planning Association invite you to Planners Roundtable, a gathering of the Kansas City area’s urban planners and those interested in urban planning topics. 

Each meeting covers topics of interest to planners, and participants can share planning news and activities that are taking place in their localities. This event qualifies for 1.5 CM credits for AICP planners and is in-person only.

Presentations include: 

  • Empowering Small-Scale Developers: A Key Strategy for Stronger Communities

    • Speaker: Abby Newsham, AICP

  • Environmental Planning at the Local Level

    • This topic will include three presentations from MARC staff on environmental planning efforts, including: 

      • KC Climate Action Technical Report

      • APWA Section 5600 Updates

      • Transportation Resiliency
