The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), the metropolitan planning organization for the Kansas City region, provides funding opportunities for projects across the region. Two recent grantees will discuss how they have utilized these funding opportunities to advance master planning visions within their respective communities. Sara Copeland, AICP will discuss her experience leveraging funding to advance planning initiatives in North Kansas City, Missouri while Michael Carmona will discuss how organizations such as the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation have collaborated with planning partners to benefit from available funding.
