The Rock Island Corridor stretches 17.7 miles from the Truman Sports Complex south through Raytown and into Lee’s Summit. Part of the corridor will be transformed into a bicycle and pedestrian path with a focus on preserving the corridor’s integrity for potential transit and rail use in the future. The new path will eventually connect the Kansas City region to the Katy Trail, creating one continuous trail across Missouri. Learn about the design and development plans of the Rock Island corridor and discuss the future of this exciting initiative! Drink tickets will be provided.
